CREEKSIDE BAPTISM & LAKE DAY
Saturday, August 10 | 9:30 – 12 | BAPTISMS @ 10 AM
Location: Black Miner's Bar in Folsom
As followers of Jesus we follow him into baptism as a public declaration of our faith and commitment to his way of life. Through baptism we testify to a watching world that Jesus has brought us from death and its fear into a new life marked by hope and healing.
Whether you're participating in baptism or gathering to celebrate Creeksiders who are, bring a picnic lunch and stick around for a day at the beach together!
We'll gather at the day use area of Black Miner's Bar (also known as Lake Natoma Paddle Rentals), which has several covered pavilions, large trees and bathrooms.
• Beach and swimming at 9:30 AM
• Baptism starts at 10:00 AM
• $10/vehicle upon entry (all payments accepted)
• Bring beach gear and picnic lunch!
If you or your child is interested in being baptized, one of our pastors would love to meet with you and answer any questions you may have. Please sign up through the link below before August 7!
Use your phone to direct you to the Black Miner's Bar. For step-by-step directions upon entrance, see the map below:

(The entrance to this area is off of Greenback Lane just to the West of Folsom-Auburn Road)After the guard shack, turn right onto the main road just in front of the first parking lot (you'll be able to see that first parking lot from the guard shack).

We'll be down by the water with a few pop up tents.
