WE ARE CHANGED - Above all things, we are in process. As God works in the life of our church, who we are is ever-changing. But so far we are changed. We all have different stories but we all share one thing in common, we are being transformed by Jesus. WE ARE FAMILY - We share generously. We serve one another sacrificially. We pursue one another. We work together. WE ARE SENT - When Jesus called his disciples he promised one thing, if they followed him, he would make them "Fishers of Men." He did just that. He took ordinary people, transformed them into conduits of his love and grace, and sent them out. As he sent them, he sends us: to care for the poor, to love the community around us, and to proclaim the life-changing message that Jesus' death and resurrection changed everything. So we go.

In the Bible, when people were ready to follow Jesus, one of their first steps was to be baptized. Baptism is a step of obedience to Jesus that publicly declares our allegiance to Him and our desire to follow Him with the rest of our lives. If you've never been baptized, we challenge you to take this important step. We hold baptism events regularly, so please contact Pastor Mark about being a part of our next baptism.

Another great way to pursue a changed life is to do our seven-week FOLLOW study. We will connect you with another Creeksider, who will guide you through this study of what it means to FOLLOW Jesus. Not only is the content challenging, you will also make a key discipleship connection with your FOLLOW leader.

We were made for relationships.
Life is meant to be lived in the context of a community.
This is true across the board, and it’s reflected in the way God designed his church. Paul describes it this way: “we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another”. For this reason, we need to fight the pull to be individualistic and isolated, and instead build our lives around relationships, so meet together, spur one another on, bear each other’s burdens and joys, as God commands (Rom. 12:5, 15, Heb. 10:24–25, Gal. 6:1-2).

One of the best things we can do for other members of the body is to come alongside them as they seek to FOLLOW Jesus. Interested? Check out SHEPHERD, a study on how to care for the spiritual needs of others.

We were made to serve, to reach out beyond ourselves.
We were made to have an impact on the world and the people around us.
One of the first things Jesus said to his followers after his resurrection was, "
Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. (John 20:21) So to follow Jesus is to be sent. It is our hope that Creekside would become a place where God raises us up and sends us out to that we might bring others the hope of his kingdom.

Ultimately, God has called all his children to outgrow self-centered living and begin to take responsibility for the spiritual growth of others. But that doesn't mean we are all called out of our current jobs and neighborhoods. Often we are sent into them! MULTIPLY, then, is a study on how to reach others through the every day rhythms of life.
