Family Camp

Thursday - Sunday, July 27 - 30

Coloma Resort

Play and worship in the great outdoors! Camp or stay in a cabin by the American River in Coloma. Tube down the river, or just relax with your church family. We make breakfast every day and dinner Friday and Saturday nights so you don't have to cook.

The Coloma Resort has river access, a pool, playground, flush toilets and hot showers. We rent the Town Hall Meeting Room for meals, and the cabins and campsites around a grassy common area.

Generators are not allowed.

The rangers and staff I talk to discourage tubing because the river is deeper, faster and much colder than last summer. There may be a place where we can do some wading in the afternoon but be sure to have kids in life jackets. (The nearby Henningsen Lotus Park does have a beach that is safe for swimming.)
